about

Eck Echo closes 2019 with its second vinyl release "Cuatro Suyos", a DJ-friendly compilation of 4 tracks crafted by four beloved Peruvian artists, setting the standards for new possibilities in dance culture.

The "Suyos" were the four regional divisions of the Peruvian society that ruled over a large portion of Southamerica before their encounter with Europeans which completely transformed history in 1532.

The four Suyos were characterized as:

-Collasuyo (South East) or the region of the Llama
-Chinchaysuyo (North West) or the region of the Tiger
-Antisuyo (North East) or the region of the Jaguar
-Contisuyo (West) or the region of the Condor

With Cuatro Suyos Eck Echo gives a friendly wink at our common history while saluting the future with four outstanding tracks by Peruvian producers that we love.
